If you are going to help her buy her a festiva. That way even if it gets ugly her car still runs was cheap, and if she has to give the car back it's something you can do something with.

I'm inclined to say no too. And the full-coverage insurance would also be a financial burden, so probably not a good idea. If you do it anyway, +1 on not expecting the $ back.

I would buy the GL Sport first, and keep it. You can always offer to help fix her tranny, or locate a used one in a boneyard. I wouldn't offer any money, no matter what!!!
Still contemplating it cause I do really want it! The only thing that would make it better is if it were a black gl sport. I'm probably gonna take a look at it and throw an offer out
