AHHH!! My first car was an 87 Aries K!! mine was blue and pretty but it smelled like eggs because I left some rotten eggs in the back seat and forgot about them!

You know its not very common for a female of your age to like festivas and k cars.

Interestingly enough Ab's first was a blue Dodge shadow and now she has a festy as well!

Except for the econobox trash Thrifty and the like offer up when I travel, I've driven nothing but Festivas (all manuals) since I sent my 1964 Amphicar down the river eight years ago and put the 1964 Volvo PV544 out of its misery ten years ago.

I've surely racked up well over 100,000 miles of Festiva driving and not once been stuck, not even with a flat tire, in temps ranging from the -30Fs to just under +120F.

I sometimes wonder what life would be like without Festivas.

She just can't wrap her head around a vehicle that is 20 years old getting her safely around without worrying about it breaking down. It is annoying really to try and win the argument because it is hard to find parts sometimes, but Festivas are the only cars I have ever owned that I truly trust. ...for the most part.
Solution: Sell all aftermarket race parts off the "Roller" and use massive amounts of profit to fix up the DD. Then install a diamond ring and she will agree.

Mine's been my only car since my mom gave it to me in 2001 after high school. I love it and am going to cry when it eventually dies, but hope to get another 100k miles out of it at least. I love it even more when I have to fill up a tank on a full size car *cringe*.

                      Daily driver

Have been using Festivas as daily drivers for 6 years. Even drove as an auto parts courier for over a year. However I own 3 of these cars so when one is down I switch plates and drive another. Picture included is from yesterday.
