All I can say is there has never been an easier car to push start. I have done it countless times. My favorite way to wow people with a pop start is...
    1. left foot on pavement
    2. right foot on clutch
    3. push the festy backwards with left foot
    4. release then depress clutch
If your festy runs like a festy it will start with VERY little speed or trouble. I've even done it on a carbed festy.

I also drove a beetle with no starter for a few weeks. I parallel parked downtown in front of my rich girlfriend's dad's office! I pushed it back, turned the wheel, pushed it out, hopped in, threw it in gear, and popped the clutch. If It saves money I'd do it.

I plan on getting a Festiva for my paper route and you better believe there will be many pop starts. If I can do it with a 1991 Grand prix with the archaic 3.4 DOHC, I'm sure it'll be cake with a festiva especially with how easy y'all say they start. No sense in wearing the starter when you're coasting downhill already, lol.
      Buck.

Hey, what's this about a divorce.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

About he cost of another Festy. Read your "divorce" thread. If she wants out, a 50-50 split, uncontested is the cheapest. No kids in this situation is good.

Ehh I just get tired of the up's and down's. Right now it's like yesterday never happened. I swear the woman is bipolar. I've tried getting her help she won't do it. Her mom was the same way.
