If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
KJ Engine was a miller cycle. Look it up. Not just a normal supercharged engine.
They were never mated to a manual trans, I've read they need constant loading from the transmission. I could be wrong.
The KJ has reliability issues with the S/C, its a twin screw (big plus) but because of the close tolerances, even minimal bearing play means rotor contact. It also runs on engine oil, which I think has a lot to do with them wearing out. I've seen a lot of seal failures in them as well, I think maybe due to the s/c seeing drastic pressure differentials (its on the vacuum side of the throttlebody)
FWIW the S/C Bits will not swap to a KL. Totally different head designs
If you could figure out how to make it work, cool. Might need custom camshafts to convert it to an Otto cycle engine, and then you could get rid of the auto tranny and all the electronics it needs.

Rocketman - thanks for the info on the KJ, i have done some reading up on those engines and the design differences compared to the KL's, as far as the reliability issues, well thats not a big deal to me since let's face it, that engine in a festiva wouldn't exactly be the ideal grocery gettter family vehicle
I have seen a millenia in person and i've looked over where the s/c is mounted, the intake piping etc and i would probably have to make some kind of custom pipingg from the vacuum side of the s/c to make it all work, but i just think it'd be another cool project to work on
