  • I've got it!

The flowers are coming off immediately, haha

These are all clickable thumbnails that come up at 1024x768

    1993 Ford Festiva GL

    Automatic 3 Speed
12" Alloys (missing a center cap on the passenger's side front wheel)
Like New Tires (I can still see the mounting dots)
    Rear Wiper and Defrost
    Aftermarket Radio and Rear Speakers
    Cloth/Vynil Seats and Door Panels
50/50 Split Folding Rear Seats (listed as NA on Festy Equipment list )
    Door Map Pockets
    Body Colored Bumpers
    Body Colored Mouldings
    Dual Outside Manual Mirrors

The bottom of the doors and the hatch are the only spots with rust on them.
The timing cover is in the back seat because the previous owner suspects that the timing is off. It still runs (so I'm told) but it's intake is taken apart right now. I'm going to put it back together on the next warm day to see what it sounds like/is doing.

I can't wait to get my hands in there and put some work into it. I've got a lot of parts and ideas to throw at it. I'm pretty sure my local PNP is going to know me by name before summer.

Someone swapped in a '88-89 LX interior, thats why there is a split rear seat and removeable headrests. Overall, looks like a nice car!

HEY THAT MEANS I CAN DO THE FRONT TO BACK FOLD FLAT TRICK THEN!

Take off the passenger side headrest, move the seat all the way forwards and lean it all the way back then I just lay the back seat down.

          Hahaaaa, awesome.

Instead of changing the car's looks, just become a hippie! Then take a trip to California and attend some love ins!!

Nice score. How do you plan on fixing the little rusted areas?

                      history

You will be getting rid of history if you remove the flowers. I wouldn't depreciate the value of the car.

Sorry... the flowers HAVE to go...

Talking to the seller today, she said, "You know, my Aunt JUST put those flowers on there and then a few weeks later, it died on me"

I said, "They're the first thing I'm taking off!"

Haha, I just can't keep them. They lower my testosterone level.

Or...take a trip to cali and pick up a complete set of doors and hatch with no rust! That would also take care of most of the flowers
