Assembling a 93 B3. Gasket set is for a 90. Don't recall ever seeing one of these in any other gasket set. Does the 93 motor use a gasket instead? Oil pan is already sealed too so I'm hoping its unnecessary to pull it back off.

If you're talking oil pickup tube, my B6 used a gasket. I had to make one out of gasket material since no one seemed to have one, or at a reasonable price.
B3 could well be different. I've never had a B3 pan off; just my B6.
I do know the water pump bypass pipe uses an O ring at the swivel joint. Could your part be for that application?
The O ring by itself above was the proper size part. The two on the flange are cheap HF O rings I was playing with. If your O ring looks like mine, it's probably for that swivel joint.

Okay.
I can't think of anything else it could go to, but I'm inexperienced, cresting the hill and moving towards senility.
