What the point in more insurance coverage when the deductible will cover the cost of a new car! Hahaha...

Depends how modded the car is. I only carry basic ins. For now.
When I get the b6t swap I will do full coverage bc the 1200$ in stereo equipment and the cost of everything done to the car cannot be replaced w/o a lot of money and time.

True. In about two weeks I'll have put about $600 into the car (it's been, oh... a month? ), so it'll raise it's value to $750 or so... Still, I ain't gonna bother with anything extra for insurance. I'll risk it.

I really want boost, as of now I'm thinking b6t, but don't think I will find a motor easily. Always think about bp without boost.

I've been looking for a b6t for the past four months with no luck... guess I just have to be patient

Maybe I will just date to be different and do something that hasn't been done. I would like to buy something that is just fab a mount or two, and then plug and play, maybe someones previously swayed motor

I would like to do the same. But options are limited in our little cars. Not saying its impossible, but a lot of fab work is in order for something no one else has tried

                  Devon527.

There is a b6t down here in salem at the jy the things that are missing are the oil pan and exhaust manifold and turbo. U could problay get the engine for 100$. They will sell it as a core. I have been thinking of getting it so I can have spare parts. I already took the oil pan and harness tho.

The cost of Festivas seem to change quite a bit between regions. Here in Indiana they seem to go for more. Sounds like the one you are looking at though isn't worth 1800 but I would agree with you that 800 would probably be a decent price. As long as whats damaged is easily and cheaply swapped who cares.

as of right now I am broke, I was hoping to get quite a bit from my tax return. But since my parents are still able to claim me, I barely got 100 bucks. I was furious

definately would be worth buying to keep, not for a donor.
