I really was considering buying it with the money I got from selling my jeep but these damn medical bills need paid! The car is in excelen condition so I wouldint personally want to tear ir apart but its a running b6t that's getting to be hard to find. +awd and diff lock!

I live in a town of about 2500 people and there is a pretty decent XR2 running around. Driven by the town mechanic. He runs a super small car lot too so I know the car would be for sale. But like this GTX I am sure it would cost a pretty penny just to tear it apart.
As for the GTX I would but it to drive it.
I will probably do a swap in my next Festiva. Probably a B8. Keep it simple.-BryantComment

I did the b6 swap and I like it but I don't love it..... I need more power bc I'm getting bored only having power until I hit 4th gear then its a snail it seems like. I wanna have something that will stomp some cocky honda drivers around here

Even with my b6 I keep up with the vtec cars until I hit 4th gear then they are gone! I don't even mess with the turbo guys.... yet!

My roomates little brother has a 2000somethig honda with a 1.7vtec and he thought he was so fast till I blew past him on the rev limiter in second gear and pulled on him until half way through third lol I can't see spending 10k on a car that everybody has and expect it to be something special.

It seems like the farther east u go the more expensive festivas get and the condition is worse... dosent make sense. I can get running driving festivas here for 200-600$ with no rust. I don't know how going east to a lower quality car would make it more valuable?

Tell the seller that all Ford parts have been discontinued for that car since 2003. Don't tell him that direct fit Kia Pride parts are still available.
