    Ha! I was convinced that replacing this one time allowed my car to start and I thought it was a fuel pump relay. However, later on I learned it had nothing to do with the fuel pump and I figured it was a headlight relay.

    I'm still learning!

      the main power EGI relay does have something to do with the fuel pump relay.It enables power to it as well as does the VAF when the intake air moves the butterfly.You need both to turn on the pump.Just my two cents------
