  • Fuel pump died...upgrade difficult?

After 244,000 miles the original fuel pump died in my Festy. I must say it was by
far the easiest fuel pump removal I have ever done!! Why can't all cars be this easy?
I figure if I'm going to put a new one in it might as well be better a one. I have seen some people have upgraded to a Walbro 255lph. How hard is to do? (I have an old Walbro pump out of my TurboCoupe and it doesn't look like it will swap right in.) Is there a kit? Is there a kit with a smaller pump...don't really think my Festiva will ever make over 500hp even with an engine swap but I would like to have more flow than stock in case an engine swap,
turbo or something is in the future. Thanks for the help.

I believe you use a pump from a first gen eclipse but don't hold me on that.
