Haha, I know! Mark (Zanzer) starting really getting back in to motorcylces and was working on opening his own shop so he never had the time to "donate" to helping me get the car finished. We had the b8 COMPLETELY disassembled and I definitely couldn't put it back together myself. Eventually a deal kinda worked itself out and I decided to go for it rather than have the car sitting for any longer. I just found out that Mark will be relocating for work too, so this all came about in the nick of time! I'm just happy the car is gonna be back on the road and plenty more people will pull beside it and say "Hey, that's a cool car.....what is it?!"

You could have sent it here and given me a week or two. Oh well. Offer still stands.

I guess we will find out the details soon? New owner? What car you bought?

If I could have figured a way to do it I would have!....especially if it involved me coming to Florida for a little vacation! I'll let the new owner come forward on his own (he is a member) and I'll post details of my aquisition as soon as I do a little tweaking

I was wondering why you changed your profile stuff to "The Iron Giant". Can't wait to see the new project!

              Same here.

It all sounds like it's in the best interests of all things Festiva. Maybe it's gonna be on the road before we all know who's obtained it. I'm going to be bringing one back onto the road myself as soon as my Accord sells.

Yeah, had to switch it up in preparation for the new car. Haha

Definitely! I think all parties involved are happy with the outcome and if I know anything about Hulk's new owner then he'll have that car on the road in no time!

The Iron Giant is a great theme for a Festiva. Napoleon complex (little body big engine)?

                    Finally home!!!

So I finally brought the new festiva home!!!! Most of you here are already familiar with this car as it has quite a history so I'll just post a few teaser pics....Here it is just after arriving home today in some pretty dreary weather...

Here's another one from a while back when I was checking to see how the new wheels are gonna look on it....

Super excited about finally having it home and being able to start working on putting some of the "pimp" back into it, haha

Haha, I know. I didn't wanna post pics until I actually got it home though. Otherwise the updates would be very few and far between. Now that I have it home I'll have easier/quicker access to it to get things done
