Started to install my coilovers between tstorms, and found my strut mounts are falling apart. So, waiting for more parts now.
And started cleaning out my shell in prep to swap everything over once it's all nailed down. Got attacked by wasps in the process. Hateful things nest anywhere that sits still for at least a month. :evil:Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I finished porting the intake and solidified the engine mounts by filling with dense 100% silicone. I have the engine mostly together on the stand, (I am shy a few hose clamps to finish the oil cooler around the filter port). The internal are new and ready for action. We plan on setting in the rebuilt motor on Saturday. My buddy Gorgonheimer is coming to join the cabal. If the only tool you have is a hammer, then every job looks like a nail.

@!$$#& the #^@% off because the very first thing I attempt to put in for my A/C system, the condenser, the thread for the fitting where the dryer hose connects to the condenser strips. :cussing:
Now I need another condenser.
I wish I knew the fitting was aluminum or else I wouldn't have even attempted to remove the dryer, now I am going to be out $26 and gas to go down to Cincinnati and get the other one off. If I remember correctly it also is a Factory system. (Relays under the battery.)
EDIT: I have nothing to lose, I am going to try an jbweld the hose into the condenser.Last edited by TorqueEffect; 07-10-2013, 11:57 PM.1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)

It's quiet too.
Got the biggest resonator I could find on there.
The exhaust note is very clean and not overly aggressive.
With the straight header on the drive over there it was too loud though.
Plus being stainless steel everything
It should survive the Pittsburgh winters longer than the actual car.Last edited by rmoltis; 07-11-2013, 01:39 PM.

Finished my B6 head porting. There's more I would like to do, but this is what it gets for now. Now I'm waiting for Matt Dickmeyer to send me a cam so I can get it back together.
