New timing belt on today and no sign of internal damage so ohiostiva is looking good again lol
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

No more bad luck rabbit!
What speed are you intending to travel down to Ohiostiva?
180 km/hr +? If so, I would advise having an extra timing belt in your trunk.
I will allow you to purchase one Mega Millions ticket while you are down there. The jackpot will be ~$170M if nobody wins on Tuesday.Last edited by bravekozak; 05-18-2014, 06:44 PM.

But I don't think it will, the cap blew off once for whatever reason, and replaced it with one I think was too small, so it split.
Put one on that was slightly bigger, but still gave a nice snug fit.1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)

Moved Farmstiva next to the new one, touched up some paint on Farmstiva. Have an idea of what I'm going to do with the new one, just need to plan a mockup to see how practical it's going to be. Floating between two ideas right now, and one of those ideas leans towards something that's been done here before.. so putting a bit more weight on the other because of that..Carz:

'80 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country
'80 Volvo 240 2dr coupe
'93 Festiva GL
225996.9 kilometers = 140428.0 miles on the odometer
...and definitely more soon..

Bought a non-running 91 Capri, 135K, std., 5-speed. Now gonna have to learn about fuel injection. There is a blue wire in the harness near behind the battery that has pulled out of its plug. Problem is there isn't a blue wire in any of the plugs near this loose one. PO said the car wouldn't start one time when this wire was knocked loose. Car will run on starting fluid so it has ignition. The wire must has something to do with fuel. Do I need to post this question in a certain section?
Wish me luck,Jack Byrd,

Had 2 sets of 4 new tires put on Squig & Shadow and switched Shadows tires to Blue. I put the old tires that came off Blue, back on Red. now Red is back on all fours.
Blue is now Avery's (G-dines's son) car to drive since he has graduated from High School. Now I have to figure out why Blues headlights are not working all of a sudden.
I finally put the LX seats in Squig. Looks very nice!
Up next: Put a new battery in Squig and change the battery terminal connectors. Put the old battery in Red and install a radiator, I got from UPAP, in Red. Red should be ready to fire back up since the battery explosion.Last edited by muleskinner; 05-19-2014, 10:16 PM.1993 Ford Festiva L blue 170,000 miles

I have a 3/4" breaker bar along with 3/4" drive impact sockets that won't crack.
I'll split the body down the middle before I let a bolt get the better of me.Last edited by bravekozak; 05-20-2014, 07:54 PM.
