I was looking at my decal kit yesterday. I cleaned the area where it would be applied, but decided not to put it on. I will wait for a warmer day, outside the garage, in the sunshine, when I can see the bends in the metal around the window. I think a simple red swoosh on a Cayman green Festiva will look not too bad.

Ford Fester those are NOT factory decals, they might be some dealer installed ones though.

Be sure to post when you do it. I have the same NOS stripe kit (except silver) that I plan on installing this spring sometime. I'm a little concerned that the 20+ yr. age may have had a detrimental effect on it. I hope it's not brittle or the adheasive weakened, etc.

This is how it looked out of the showroom. Is this original?

I like the swoosh myself. Back in the 80's and early 90's, a friend of my dad use to go to dealers and apply decals to vehicles. Some of them were atrocious.
Here's a bad pic of mine.

I just hate red, if my stripe was green I would leave it. I'm doing the opposite, green with a black decal on the side.

if your doing the green and black on your car too you should check out my "Christian's 89L" thread for my dash color combination. i think youll dig it cause of your wheels.

My buddy did the same thing with the green and black dash but not as many parts. I love the color combo like that inside. Mines black and gunmetal grey where yours is green.
