Here is the email and quote I got for duplicating the factory red swoosh:

    Hi Dan:

It was nice to meet you the other day.

We've had a chance to prepare a quote to design, print and cut pin-striping for you to match your old vinyl. This is a digitally printed graphic on clear cast vinyl. We laminate our digitally printed graphics to preserve the life of the graphic.

You'll see that there are significant savings for ordering sets of 5 or 10 at a time.

We'd be happy to begin with your written authorization (via fax, email or in person) and receipt of your 50% deposit.

Of course, if you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. Thank you!

    Sincerely yours,

    Michelle Henderson

I wonder if, because they're printing it, it would be easy enough to do multiple colors on the same vynil sheet. The big swoosh could be 'spooned' with others and printed in different colors for each pair.

I'd pitch in for the red swoosh decals if they were cheaper.

O.K., the question I have is a transfer just one piece of a stripe kit?
I asked the seller if it's just the one piece.
There are a lot of transfers in stock at Green Sales. e8bz-17d890-
            They have A, B, C, D.

Second question. You can still purchase stripe kits E8BZ-6120000-AE and AP.
But what are the part numbers for other stripe kits?

There are a lot of part numbers beginning with E8BZ-612, but no descriptions!

I really need a Ford parts catalog to figure all of this out.

nope its a decal just stuck over factory paint... i got the car that way and the guy that i bought it off of got it that way too, so i have no idea if it was a factory thing or someone stuck it on after they got it... but i THINK its a factory thing cause i have seen 2 other festivas with a zipper on the side but they looked a bit diffrent shape... so i dont know for sure... i would love to get the decal re-made and spray the car with the same color mazda used on the mazdaspeed 3

This one has a multi stripe silver pinstripe with a big paint stroke 80's style decal over it.
