Funny how they had two cops watching us all pull out.
Well, look at what these movies did to the ricer crowd after the first movie was released. Tons of idiots in their riced out crap-boxes being retarded.
Actually, most of the drifting done in Tokyo Drift was real.
Looking forward to seeing 5.
not doubting that....just the way it all played out was corny at best...but I still watch it when I come across it on tv

I'm a little hunk of tin, nobody knows what shape I'm in. I've got four wheels and a running board, I'm not a Chevy, I'M A FORD!
I just saw it at an AMC IMAX and it was great. Stay for the credits though

Wife and I just got back from the movies and loved fast five. It was action packed all way thru and loved the scene of them towing vault. I'm going to see it again.

If I ever make a movie it will be titled, "The Slow and the Sedate." It'll have car scenes so slow you'll see the actors throw fishing lines into the water as they cross a bridge and when they get to the other side they'll be dining on fresh fried fish (cooking stoves help pass the time in cars this slow).
This movie will result in kids (of all ages) wanting their own "slow trawlers" to save gas, fish from bridges as they drive across (playing Scrabble when the fish aren't biting), and of course, eat fried fish.
I'm a genius, of course.

When The Fast and the Furious came out, I thought that the truck scene was awesome. After I became a truck driver and watched the movie, I noticed that they swapped between a lifted single axle trailer and a standard, tandem axle trailer. The more times I watch it, the more I pull it apart. When Letty's Honda was rammed off the highway by a truck, you'll notice that there's a full roll-cage in the car. Next scene, there isn't one. The Eclipse shifts eight times in the initial run in the long parking lot. The NOS blew up and blew the car into the air. Had the nitrous actually exploded, it would have embedded the hatch into a wall and blown glass everywhere, but not that... And why the hell would ANYONE put an SR20 motor in a Civic? Get the codes right, guys, it's a K20a, not a Nissan motor.
I HATED 2F2F. You know what I mean, bro cuz bro bro cuz cuz cuz? CG bumsquat. TFATF TD was corny, and actually played quite a bit off of Initial D, but aside from the Skyline Mustang blasphemy, it actually played as a better movie because they didn't try so hard to be REAL.
TFATF4 was OK. I had hoped for much, much better, especially since my opinion of the 3rd movie was so high. Once again, more CG than I cared for, and a bit too reminiscent of the 2nd movie.
That being said, I hope to keep an open mind with this new movie, and while I may be doing myself a disservice by watching it in IMAX when it comes out, I'll at least finish out the saga. Hopefully it will only go to six movies, but Diesel's joke about calling it the "Sexy Six" may foreshadow a continuation beyond this. Honestly, I hope that someone comes out with a movie where the scenes are more realistic, but you still have the action. Youtube the Viper that bails on the deadman's curve. That's the kind of real action I mean. Until then, I'll just drive my Festiva like a stuntman. Are you listening, Clarkson? HAHAHA
In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright: There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"
