I was getting really tired in the wee hours and started to dose off, when I heard what sounded like a party.. I jumped up opened the door and all 6 of my Festys were lined up like a six pack all noses pointed in with an open case of beer in the middle and a bag of chips scattered about. Now I know.. never leave them together, they will just get into trouble. Right now Zippy is on restriction because it seems he was the instigator. More news as it plays out..
:laughing3: I've always wondered about the festiva and aspire parking them so close.. alot of beer cans around them some mornings.. but the corolla's in the area and i'm pretty sure that it tries to keep them in line... even though they can easily out run it.

          Those little rascals

Sounds like a bunch of hell raisers. Do you think it might be bad parenting? Ive found beer cans and such around my festivas in the morning too. And it never fails that I find them on a morning when I have a hangover and am in no mood to deal with them. I give them a little lea way, but if I ever catch them with some high octane racing fuel.....oh boy! Nothing worst then a tweaked festiva.

Looks like i'll be adding another to the fleet (hopefully).. I got the call of approval today.. it took a 5hr trip driving the aspire to convince her to buy another. I'll have to keep them all separated though.. I don't want the party to get to out of hand. The good news the Toyota is bye-bye.. I may kiss the person that buys it, I don't care how ugly he is.

Nope getting 4dr Aspire -already found one. After driving a Aspire for a while it's hard to go back to a Festiva.. found that out today. Thanks though.

I'm the total opposite.. No offense, but I can't drive an Aspire.. feels weird.. looks too much like the newer escorts or a Daewoo IMO. so I would never buy one other than for brake swap parts...

I felt the same way when I first started driving it.. now I drive the festiva it feels like a over size go kart. Fun but uncomfortable.. the festiva does need alot of work though. I guess it's just what we're used to.

                      aspire?

You must have two good eyes the way you find cars so easily. Lets see, comfort, or over size go cart? Go cart !!

Yeah I like to track and hunt aspire/festiva's.. right now I know where 1 festiva (possibly a couple more) is and 4 4dr aspires and 1 2dr aspire are, i'm just to lazy to go by and ask i'm pretty sure I could get them cheap. My dad helps a little though. Everybody has to have a hobby I guess. The aspire i'm looking at is atihanmier's so that one was easy to find. Yeah the go kart is fun sometimes even better when I put the 1.8L in it.. scary go kart.

You and your dad keep up the good work. Ill admit, Id lost that loving feeling with Freshtiva when the struts, wheel bearings, and tires got worn out. Now, I enjoy driving it. Lots of scenery on a motorcycle budget. Never drove an Aspire either so I cant say which is best. Think its all in the attitude.

I wondering if you would ask i've been thinking since you posted a while back. One is in bulter, mo.. the dealers number is in the aspire which is in arkansas right now. It didn't have a title but you could get it fairly easy. Another is on 54 east of collins a little ways it's out in the field so I don't know it's condition. Dad said he seen a couple setting around nevada i'll check with him tomorrow. There was a guy selling festiva's around the adrian area used to put them in http://www.ad-xchanger.com/page14.html but hasn't lately. I'll have dad look at past issues. Another place you could try is at peculiur (sp?) take the outer road south, you have to get off at the flying J exit take a right the road curve's around and goes south. It will about 6 miles south that guy has about 10 festiva and aspires setting around his place.. maybe more. Another was off of 7, take 71 to the collins exit and go south its less than 5 miles down. Hmm I guess I know where quite a few is. I don't know the condition of any of these festivas just seen them passing by, of course I slammed on the brakes to check it out. I think I need to get a big trailer and the boss's permission go hunting and open a festiva dealership.

Oh and if anyone is interested in a mint 97SE, absolute beatiful car from what I can see. It's setting between a body shop and transmission shop on N. Oaks in KC, if you go past the Quicktrip going north you've went to far. I'd hate for that to go to the junkers it may need a transmission or something.
