hay guys if my light/turn signal switch is broke as in i hit and herd a pop could that cause my car not to start

Highly doubt it1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
1991 blue L, 5 speed.
1988 red L-plus-all stock. -
that pop could have been a fuse, but i'm with mcnasty, the likelyhood of it not starting because of the combo switch is very low.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),

well i have replaced the turn signal switch dis cap and rotor button icm coil tried to clean the connectors on the thing on the firewall and still no spark im lost as of right now no fuse have blown or anthingComment

ok guys i have done everything i can think of im lost at this point i know that the little brown box on the fender wall where the links go some times rust or get dirty i have cleaned the im about to take that apart and make my own links to go in there i have replaced the rotor button the cap the coil the icm and still nothing no spark if there is something im missing plz help i get fuel but no spark i need help badComment

how can i check to see if the ecu is bad its off of a 323 i think and i hope it isComment

when i crank it i get no spark but once u let off the key u get one spark thats it nothing elseComment

check the position of the rotor....if it is like the B3 one it can go on in 3 different positions.
Also maybe you have a dead short until you let off the key when trying to start it."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"
