BPT pistons in a BP block?

    your better of with N/A pistons rather then bpt ones, if i recall i think the bpt ratio is 7.9-11 and the n/a is 9-1. you will make more power with less boost with the n/a motor. They have the same conecting rods there not an upgrade. You will have better gains with the n/a motor.

          I think its the intake setup that makes them diffrent. My brothers BPT has the 1 piece design.

            cams are also different, crank, rods, intake,

              rods are the same, the only good rods are the GTR or the 1.6 gtx, BP, BPT, and non GTX b6t all share the same rods.

                The crank is the same... actually if you grab a B8-ME crank it is lighter and still strong enough for high boost...

                    yep the single cam B8. Crank isn't as strong but still plenty strong for 99% of builds.

                      Hmmm, that's the engine that I will be putting in my 89L for now, or atleast until I can get a BP built. I need to find a small nose crank shaft timing gear and pulley though.
