anyone interested in a digital i/c from an '86/'87 323? There's one at my local pick-n-pull. About $40 plus shipping.

There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"

My festiva has a 323 cluster installed by the previous owner, it was a custom job for sure
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

pretty different.
for a long while i had an rx7 cluster wired in that "worked" but because the speed and rpm signal inputs were different it never read right other than fuel/temp. this can be compensated for by using different sensors im sure but its really worth more work than its worth for the rx7 cluster at least. im sure the digital would require a complete rewiring of the harness and finding of the sensors used as inputs for the digi cluster since they may work @ different pulse ranges or voltages.Last edited by IdealSociety; 01-23-2012, 10:04 AM.1992 Festiva... I would love to give it a shot if i could ever find a cluster. i love those classic digital gauges (im a child of the 80's what can i say) so even if it was a bit of work im sure theres a way to make it work one way or another.
