All we need is a pinout diagram from the digital cluster, anybody got an EVTM for an 86-87 323 with the digital cluster? or a shop manual, I'll look at the school shop

See, now you guys are thinking

Dont ask if it can be done, find a way how

And then document and expand the knowledge of the community!

Since I already have a cluster from a 323, the digital cluster is plug and play with my festiva

            1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
            1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

one of these days you should write down the wiring/colors on the pin locations.

I have the pinouts for the stock festiva somewhere i can post, as well as the ones from my rx7 cluster (which obviously does no good here).

Well what Fred did when he installed the cluster, he pulled the festiva wires from Festiva connectors and re-installed them in the 323 connectors so it looks OEM

^ Does that mean that all the wires are there and have the correct signals? if so, I need to find a digital cluster of awesomness

Basically yes it works like factory, I think the only difference is the low fuel light doesn't come on when I'm low on gas, but it does light up when starting the car

 i can grab a pic but i don't think it'd help a whole lot, it wouldn't look much different then if you pulled a 323 cluster and looked at the 323 connectors, except on mine you can now see where i tapped into the wires for my temp gauge and tach from when i did the KL swap

Ya that part would be worth the pic but it'd be hard to get a good pic that shows every wire color but i can try, it may take me a bit to get to it though so if it takes too long and i forget, send me a PM to remind me lol

thats the same thing i did with my rx7 cluster i had. i pulled the pins and reinstalled them in the right order for the different cluster. when i got sick of the cluster always reading incorrectly i pulled them back out and reinstalled them into the festiva locations.

ill post up the festiva pinouts here in a minute. im sure i still have them from the last time i used em (4 years ago or so)

EDIT: i think this is it.
