Hmmm... Looks like an aspire in the back. Maybe someone should try completely stripping an Aspire and see what they can get the weight down to. Something similar to what 2000kgtp did (may have gotten the name slightly wrong, but the guy with the Grand Prix and the stripped festiva for delivery purposes)
                No festiva for me ATM...

I would rather sacrifice the gas mileage then drive around like that.

Is it the experimental coroplast/tape look or would you feel the same if it were a finished part painted to match and attached in a more permanent manner?

Actually, the out line remind me more of the Honda Insigh than an Aspire.
Though, I believe a lowered Aspire could perform very well, even without weight reduction, on a long continuous drive where there is limited need for acceleration.

If this work were done in fiberglass, or ABS or aluminum, I think it would look nice.

The only thing I'd really be concerned with now is the tape attachment and how long that will last. If it gets a 5% improvement on gas I wouldn't care about the looks.

I don't think it looks that bad! Rough crowd we have here. I've seen alot worse. Truthfully doesn't look any different than a Aspire.

How about if you changed out the Aspire trans for a Festiva's on top of the lowering and weight reduction?
