  • Antenna deletes!

    25Horseplay sent me an antenna delete plate a long while back, so I could cast them

    Here's the prototype I made, I still need to drill it out & maybe polish it a bit more. Is anyone interested in these?

    looks good. You should maybe see about getting them made in carbon fiber too. for looks.

      Is that aluminum? Nice job. Looks a litlle longer than the original though, or is that an optical illusion?

          It's an optical illusion, methinks. It's a little thicker than the original, but exactly the same length. But yeah, I cast it in aluminum

          About the carbon fiber, I could probably do that...I have some resin laying around, but no more raw fiber :/

            That would look nicer then stock if you just glued it on with some RTV adhesive!

              Wouldnt you have to vaacum it and then put a clear over it?

                I'd probably make a negative mold from it, then resin/vacuum bag it

                        Yank an aerial from a newer model car & run it to the rear!

                        Or get one of these!

                            My antenna used to be here..

                            Cut thin steel to fit, tacked on, grinded flat, filled then painted.
