Then you'll know how to "throw on" a:
make it yourself turbo manifold (there is no "ready made" mani for the b3)
    Boost controller
    Adjustable Fpr
    Charge pipe
    Down pipe
    Coolant lines in and out
    Oil line in
    Oil tee
    Oil restrictor
    Oil drain out
    Bung on oil pan
    Blow off or bypass valve
    Ic or Meth injection
    Air fuel ratio gauge
    Boost gauge
    O2 Voltage clamp

    How many things is that?

Yeah "Throw on a turbo" ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,
+1 on that , the turbo price is about 1/20th of what its gonna cost to have it running in the car.

A good BOV is 200+ and a good wastegate is 300.

A china turbo with all garret components in its rebuild is about 1/3 the retail price of a full garrett. Its not a bad deal to come up on the china's when you can. I'd sell it or trade it to a honda guy for some nice used honda coilovers that you can actually use. There is an active b3 turbo build on this board and it's done great. ^^iceracer has had multiple combos and knows the ins an outs of having to make a kit for an engine that has zero aftermarket support as well.

+2 on turbo builds cost and parts lists/headaches.. This is why once you have owned a turbo car, you usually have a lot of stuff lying around to have another and another. same with bottle feeders.

I figure most naive and un-read folks wishing to toy with unknown turbos and superchargers should drop a live .22 round down a spark plug hole, and then put the plug back in, so they can instantly experience what they're in for. Lifespan on amateur engine jobs won't be that much different, and at least they won't have spent any money (yet).
