    I would like to welcome my dad to the site.
    He is a huge part of my build team & pit crew
    We build these crazy hot rods for the experience but mostly it gives us something to do together.

        Welcome, and you guys got some nuts. 'Cause that car is gonna be nastylicious!
        1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
        1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
        1991 blue L, 5 speed.
        1988 red L-plus-all stock.

            We are definitely doing something completely different, But we are extremely comfortable doing it.
            I just hope it goes over well on here because I know some of you probably see it as were tearing up something you all love as it is.

              Ya we do like our little cars, but hey it's your car, git after it and show us what you can do.
              An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

                cannot believe what Cit Caine has got me into

                last weekend he is gutting back floor area so he says you take out dash.
                OK easy right except for the 2 clips covering the bolts at the top of dash
                wont come out so I use screwdriver and hammer - yep cracked windshield!!!

                  Windshield would probably have to be removed anyway to pull the firewall.

                    We will be replacing all the glass with lexan anyway.
                    Easy way to cut weight.

                    With lexan windows we can use a racecar style door handle.
                    This is a lever mounted inside the car that sticks up above the bottom of the window.
                    The window has a 3" hole cut inline with the lever. To open the door from the outside you reach in thru the window and bump the lever.
