In west palm Its dog eat dog on the roads. the cops don't care. On the news they said that they are going to start giving tickets if you go more than 10 over. Military a 6 lane road 3 north 3 south is 45 most places but most do 65 70 and stop lights are 1/8 to 1/4 mile apart. Insurance is high here. I want to do an aspire brake swap just cause its like a nascar pit stop around this area.

Exactly. Growing up in south florida I witnessed a lot of road rage and I heard plenty of stories of people being followed, threatened, guns pointed at them. etc. Even shooting someone a bird can spark a road rage incidence these days. Personally I can't think of a dumber reason to die than getting into an altercation with a complete stranger in traffic, but I guess it's a pretty good way to thin the herd. :twisted:

I recently got into an argument at the local Giant Supermarket over a parking space. An H2 was parked over the lines taking up 2 spaces. There was enough room for me to squeeze into MY space, but that I blocked his drivers door so that he couldn't get in.

He came into the store, found me and told me to "put down my stuff and go move my car" and when I told him that I wasn't going to, he flipped out. Told me that he'd be waiting in the parking lot for me to come out and blah blah blah....

It could've easily turned into me getting hit or shot because he was an asshole to begin with. *shrug*

If I can avoid confrontation, I try to... If someone comes up on my ass and I have the ability to get over, I try to. If he would be an asshole and try passing on the right, flashing his lights, etc... that's when I start to play.

I understand that people want to avoid confrontation.. but that IS exactly what I'm saying.. avoid it if you don't want to deal with it..

But if you do it, be prepared to deal with it..

The guy in the H2 knew that.. even though it was his fault, he was ready to deal with whatever he found in the store.. You could have looked like Bill Goldberg as far as he knew.. but that didn't matter when he decided to go into the store and confront the guy who parked so close to his gas guzzler.. and Simon no offense, but you don't look like Goldberg.. So I'm sure he sized up the situation and decided to try to intimidate you into moving your jeep.

That's all I was saying. If you want to be a tough guy and prove something that's fine but if you get shot, stabbed, run over, etc. you don't have anyone to blame but you. It really depends on part of the country you live in I think, in most areas the worst that can happen is a fist fight if you get into it with someone over a parking space but there are some cities where it could get you dragged out of your car and beaten to death. I'm not saying be a pacifist but don't go around with a chip on your shoulder either. But I don't think I'm going to convince you since it's seem like you have a hard on for me anyway. Maybe this thread should be moved to the arena?
