Proud owner of my first Festiva

I bought a 1988 Ford Festiva L yesterday. It is in pretty good shape for it's age, only 144,000 miles. Filled it up this morning at 2.999/gallon and it only took $24.00!!!!!! I am amazed. Costs $48 to fill up my Taurus.

Don't know what gas mileage I will get yet but I look forward to restoring it and contributing to this community.

My parts Festiva blew up yesterday.

I was trying to drive it home (a distance of about nine miles) when all of a sudden it started losing power, there was a deafening BANG!, a flash of fire, and a huge cloud of smoke, and the car stopped right in the middle of traffic!

Luckily I was only about a mile from home and some guy in a Ford F350 towed me there free of charge.

That's the first time I ever drove a POS Festiva, by the way...

You got your parts car home. How you did it doesn't matter now, does it?
