Clunkerball Run in a 1990 Festiva

    Got her all together and she's running great. We painted her black primer and lettered her with Clunkerball Run logos. We leave from Denver tomorrow and are driving to New York. The Clunkerball Run cross country race begins Wednesday the 7th. We are documenting the entire experience on our blog. Follow us and our 1990 Festive that just keeps saying "I think I can, I think I can". Also, please send some luck our way.....lord knows we will need it.

      Yes pressure is better. It raises the boiling point of the coolant. In this case, I was just thinking about those seams and crimps in the old radiator and heater core.

            1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
            1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
            1991 blue L, 5 speed.
            1988 red L-plus-all stock.

              They said they wouldn't scrap the car but sell it instead because it ran so well. At least that's the story.
