would everyone think i was crazy if i replaced all my under the hood 10mm bolts with stainless steel looks like i can get a bag of 100 for about $25 im talking about like the fender bolts and what not

Little details like that are what set cars off! With your dark engine bay, anything will pop, and bolts won't be an acception!1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.

Stainless will be a nice addition and if it's a good quality stainless it will clean up easy and not rust.An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.Comment

Go for it. Most replacement hardware can be found for pennies, either stainless or cad plated but is often overlooked as a simple and cheap dress up item.money pit

One thing to remember about stainless steel hardware is that it is not usually as strong as an OEM steel bolt. Not really a big deal for small stuff, but I wouldn't replace highly stressed bolts with stainless unless you find properly graded stainless hardware. One last note about stainless is that if you use stainless bolts with stainless nuts you should use anti-seize, because they have a tendency to seize together.
