People already think we are nutz for driving 20yr old Fazda's. So I say go for it.

Little details like that are what set cars off! With your dark engine bay, anything will pop, and bolts won't be an acception!

Stainless will be a nice addition and if it's a good quality stainless it will clean up easy and not rust.

Go for it. Most replacement hardware can be found for pennies, either stainless or cad plated but is often overlooked as a simple and cheap dress up item.

It would look even better if you polished the bolts!

One thing to remember about stainless steel hardware is that it is not usually as strong as an OEM steel bolt. Not really a big deal for small stuff, but I wouldn't replace highly stressed bolts with stainless unless you find properly graded stainless hardware. One last note about stainless is that if you use stainless bolts with stainless nuts you should use anti-seize, because they have a tendency to seize together.
