The original screws I had broke off so I had to drill them out and then re-thread them. I don't know if you can see it or not in the pic thats close up. I aslo had to drill the choke plate and find some screws. The screws were too long so I ground them down. I will Loctite them soon, I just wanted to test it.

I didn't know what choke plate you were talking about until I saw the pictures. All carb choke plates have staked screws, so that they won't unscrew and get sucked into the engine.

I know but the screw heads were broke off.
