    Dude, no apologies needed!

Yeah, Pulled the plugs right away, and squirted a little PB in last night, just as soon as I was home. I plan on rolling it over by hand a little in a few hours. I am pulling parts off for paint. I have all the gaskets on order, and will reassemble, pull the B3 and drop the B6 in Saturday evening. I even bought assembly lube, since it has been sitting so long, thought I might squeeze some in at some critical points.

Rotella 5-20 mix? I am not sure what you mean, can you elaborate, or did you mean use Rotella oil, at 5w20?

I should have thought of ATF, good idea. How much would you suggest, a half pint maybe?

And do you know if there is any difference between the throttle body ATX compared to the MTX other than TPS? The listing says it ts the same between the B3 and the B6. I am thinking I can use the one of my B3. Which would mean I am all set to go!

Oh, I also saw some carbon on top of the 1 and 4 pistons. I might try to suck some out. I made an attachment for my wet dry vac years ago, that terminates in a drinking straw to get into tight places. Shoot, I might even try to get into 2 and 3 as well

the TPS issue... i'd need to research (i have the FSMs to verify).

Rotella 15-40 and 5-20HD at a 50% mix = 10ish-30HD (kinda). for the ATF, no more than .25 qt (atf isn't a good lube...).

as for the carbon deposits: you can seafoam or water fog the engine while running (warm) to steam clean the cylinders.

Cool, that mix makes sense, thanks. Glad I haven't bought oil yet!

Yeah, I figured I could get any big flakes out while I have it loose, then I can seafoam it once it is running for the complete clean.

Speaking of carbon, is that Lucas fuel additive worth it for regular or even occasional use? Some counter guy was trying to sell it to me, but my experience with it is zilch.

Oh! I keep forgetting! This is a 92, so it doesn't have vacuum advance on the disty, and the plug looks like it might be the same, at a glance. Can I use this one?

yeah, you can use the B6 dizzy, it uses the same pickup. as for the fuel additive: MMO or seafoam. not a fan of Lucas.

Is this for power steering or an AC pulley/ tensioner?

Crud! I keep forgetting to ask! Will the BP or B8 Downpipe work with this mani? I haven't found a 323 downpipe yet.

                      Edit:

It looks like a Protege downpipe with the SOHC would work.

                      Or an Escort GT!

Cleaning it up, I don't think I am going to paint it! No rust, no missing paint, high humidity, this should look good as is.

The first picture in the TPS on the b3. The second picture is a tag off of my TPS on my B6 with MTX. Neither look like the one on your B6.
