  • Interesting 3-wheel "microvan"

Ran across this rather interesting vehicle while scouring the Raleigh Craigslist yesterday. It's a "Wildfire" aka Snyder ST600-C (imported from China). Has a 598cc liquid cooled 2 cylinder motorcycle engine. Not sure I'd want to try to drive it across the country!!

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

that would be a motorcycle here and would require a deq certified engine
It might be?? It would be fun around town but 3 wheels where I tend to
go is a really rough ride!!

It is probably imported by someone who is only bringing in a small quantity, like 49, to avoid DOT and EPA regs. We have a guy here in STL doing the same thing with another brand of Chinese vehicle. Basically a glorified golf cart, either electric or very small gas motor. And Smedley is right about the curves. Two wheels in front/one in rear is inherently more stable.

So what is the British car that only had three wheels?

The one on the Brit Top Gear that rolled over at about every corner? Hey at least it might be fun. :p

If you have time it's quite a laugh.

In fact even if you don't have time the first 30 sec will make you laugh your rear off.

ha....was funny. You never said 1 wheel in the front....sheeeesh.

I can not believe how much that thing looks like a Festy.

                        The Peel, I think.

What I find counter-intuitive about single wheel at the front is how do you hide the motor? Center of gravity is going to be high if it's above that wheel, or really cut down on cabin space is it's between the seats.

Its a motorcycle engine...it doesn't take up a whole lot of room.
