I'm a little hunk of tin, nobody knows what shape I'm in. I've got four wheels and a running board, I'm not a Chevy, I'M A FORD!
I used to work for a major cranberry processing company ( I don't like them, so I won't use their name. Let's call them "SeaMist"). During the harvest season, shifts were 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It was called "working the season" and everyone wanted to work it. The work was hard, but the pay was awesome. There were people who would only work the season and then take the rest of the year off.

Dude that's impressive...talk about no time for anything else though. You slept and worked.
A whole new meaning to the phrase, "Working for the weekend!"

I used to do this too back in the mid 90s, working at KFC as a delivery driver in the day time and then working Papa Johns as a driver at nights. I usually worked 70 + hours a week and making great money. KFC used to do delivery back in Houston in mid 90s for a year or so, but it didn't work out so they stopped it. I worked a lot because I fell out of love with my live in girl friend and just wanted to be at work instead of home with her.

I work 12 hr shift plus a 1 hr commute one way. Plus I have my own side business. 18 hr days seem normal to me. Its kept my wife home with my 4 kids, but its getting old now that I'm almost 50.

I got a 168 hr paycheck for one week. I was "on duty on call in position" the whole time as an armed guard.
Most other jobs, sometimes 2-3 doubles a week. At one point, 2 40+hr job and 2 25+ hr jobs. One was 8hr guaranteed pay, usually finished in 2-3hrs and slept the rest of the shift. Wish i'd kept some of that money lol
Haven't had a "job" since March, now. Got tired of working for someone else all the time, so I'm diverting to a minimalist (sort of) life and making money as I need it. Tough conversion, but I'm making it so far. Working on living situation currently.
