So the festy 4 speed and aspire five speed ( that I said above ) don't have the same final drive . I clearly said festy five speed was different ?

festy 4spd and 5spd are the SAME save for the extra gear. aspire 5spd changes the final but NOT any of the selected gears.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

Arty; no, the 4spd has a slightly higher final drive than the 5spd, according to my literature. But that may only hold true for the early cars.

Okay !! I was thinking the four speed festy and the aspire were the same ratio . But anyway you can tell the difference between the ratio of a four speed festy versus the five speed festy trans . We built the b6d car with a four speed and after a year we lost forth gear , so we replaced with a five speed and it killed the car on a hill !!!! Now were back to the four speed racecar !!New build on the way .
