Mazda/KIA/Ford B3 valve covers

A 2nd gen B6 single cam valve cover should bolt right on. Don't confuse it with the b8 at the yards, they look the same, but are different lengths. Protege DX hatchbacks should have them IIRC. They're few and far between around here.

Then again if you find it, yank that engine!

Far out man! Now, if need be finding one of those oldies around here is going to be a bit of work. This was an older posting from before contemplating an engine swap and I do have an e-test coming up and just about everything around here is buried in 2 feet of snow. Received about a foot and some last week and another 3 inches yesterday and about an inch fell this afternoon. This is not condusive to getting much done. All we need now is a bit of a thaw and all that white stuff will turn into unshovel-able cement.
