They love the car, and from my end of things that is good , they will take better care of it. There is not much else as inexpensive and fun to keep on the road! My mom has a sprint auto and they are tough but ....You just don't have a great big grin on your face while driving one of those! That grin means a lot!!

Yup, sometimes it's the "smiles per gallon" that can matter more than anything.

Japaneese small cars , thats where you need to look for economy. It hurts to say , but its the reality. My moms 2013 corolla makes 40+ mpg , the same as her former 03 Rio. And the car is twice as big. Forget Focuses and Aveos.
