Spring perches on the shock absorbers are slightly higher (3/8") on generation II Festys (Aspires in n America) so that larger tires will clear. But, Aussie gen I Festys (so I'm told) already have 13 inch tires (as opposed to n. American 12" wheels) so this might not be an issue for you. Well worth looking at though. Festy II suspension will be stiffer than OEM Festy and the sway bar is considerably thicker. The torsion bar arrangement in the Aspire trailing arm is also better.
