Re: Another clueless festiva dogger.
I don't see what the problem is. He said they had poor crash ratings, which I believe they did. He said they rust out, and there's no denying that. And he said were nut jobs. That's not a lie either.91GL BP/F3A with boost

This was my reply to that..
"a relentless propensity to corrode? Try...No. Here is one I had last year. It's 22 years old, has never had any rust proofing, has sat parked outside for all of those 22 years, and it has zero rust. http://s286.photobucket.com/user/nea...ff3-1.jpg.html
95% of the festivas in my area are that way. And where they rust ALL cars rust. "

I was just goofing.
People hate for no reason, and people aren't willing to fix little things as they come up, and so they end up with a bad impression of a car they didn't really take care of. I get it. He got what was coming to him.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Re: Another clueless festiva dogger.
Yes all cars end up rusting up here. But festivas rust faster than a lot of other cars. The metal is so thin.
Trust me if I could have found a nice one I would probably be DDing it now. It just doesn't happen.
If you really want to call him out, ask him what he thinks is a better subcompact from the same era.91GL BP/F3A with boost

But using that steel was one of the things that helped drive down the purchase price of the car, which kept the car competitive, which means they sold lots of them, which means that for us they're very cheap and easy to find, which means we can all drive these cars and hotrod them and go fast and get super awesome gas mileage without spending much money.Last edited by Tommychu; 04-06-2013, 08:28 PM.
