  • Radiator Support Repair

I modified my upper radiator mounts because the rad was too loose, bouncing all around in its perch. I cut out the old dry rotted rubber on the top brackets, and used some sway bar bushings on top of the radiator. Simple fix, now the radiator is tight, but not too tight.

Good idea. I never would have thought of using those.
    You gonna race that thing?

You should have just bought a couple of cheap NOS ones on the Four Green Group buy.

Some of us are still watching and learning. It looks like you have broke through some barriers and this could be a popular recurring event!

              Radiator Support Repair

Here I thought this was gunna be a thread on fixing a rotted out lower rad support lol

              1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
              1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

AZ cars don't rust they just dry rot all rubber, plastic, fabric & paint. I wouldn't know how to deal with a SSV (Sacrificial Salt Vehicle).
