well, my car was made in the days of national speed limit of 55. just wondering if anybody runs theirs at a constant 70 and if it poses any problems. im hard of hearing, so listening to the rpms doesnt bode that well for me/

I broke a hundred right after buying it brand new. Cruising a B3 at 80 or even 90 is OK as long as you have good tires, suspension,etc...Contact me for information about Festiva Madness!

I drive to work at 2AM, so 70 in my auto is daily business. The struts are pretty bad as of late, but she still holds fine. Just be prepared to put a lot of effort into cornering! Haha.
Seeing the 3500RPM every morning hurts my soul, though.

I ran 70 every morning with my old festy and I did NOT drive it nice, either. She took it all in stride. 70 is totes fine if everything is in good working order

Tires are a limiting factor for comfort cruising at 70. Car will readily go that fast (5 speed) but rarely smooth with 12s. When I finally escaped from OEM, to Nokian 155/70-14s it was like driving another car! Fuel economy is a different issue though; 55 is a lot better on gas.

I'm always bumping the Rev limiter in my aspire, can't be any worse then cruising in overdrive.....
Half Ass rebuild on worn out pistons and sloppy stem seals. Gobbles oil, about a quart to a tank, 384k miles, 89,000 on this recent/last rebuild, awaiting to finish my monster project.
40/45 if I grandma drive it. Can't wait to see mpg on a tight fresh build and higher compression
