yes although clutch is starting to get fairly loose, and the bushings in the shifter linkages are gone, all the gears are still smooth in the tranny. The motor is also a tad noisy, hopefully I can get her up to 500 even before I need to put lifters in it, I figure around the same time if im done with my other one, Ill redo the body as well89 LX (461xxx miles original motor and trans, retired)

That's 3 I've heard of in that mileage range on the original engine/transmission/clutch.

Hi guy this is my first post on this site!
My Festiva currently has 788000km on it or approx 489640miles i was told it was the orignal engine and gearbox(auto). I am the second owner, i bought it last week! It has a few leaks, and i cant find a haynes manual or repair manual, does anyone know where i can get one online(free)1988 Porsche 928 S4
