  • Cars I've Seen Today

Wow! Today was a scorcher. Hot and humid. I believe we set a record. Anyway, here is the Tesla I saw when I stopped at Super Kobassa for pierogies. Notice the green lettered license plate for a zero emission electric vehicle. Here is a closeup of the Tesla mirror. Notice there is no sail plate.
Saw a bug a little later on. Opened the rear and took a pic. How do you like that paint job?

          Work for me..

Nice pics. In the end the total cost per mile may end up being less on the Bug though.

Sorry about that. I copied the links and didn't notice I spelled jpg, as jog.

That's my van, parked way in the background.
Z&A is behind my van across the street.
They rebuilt both of my transaxles perfectly
Here is the Z of Z&A.
Here is where my Festiva axles were rebuilt.

The next time I go shopping at Yorkdale, I will take pictures of the Tesla electric engine for all of you.

Anyone can use this thread to post pictures of vehicles that they have seen.
I will be carrying my camera around more often. I have missed a lot of good pictures. There was a great WWII motorcycle with a sidecar at the Art Gallery the other day and I want to get a good pic of that old rear civic mid spoiler.

Teslas are an everyday sighting here in the SF Bay Area. It's crazy seeing so many 100k cars being commuted.

I went to a local Festival, and they had quite a car show.
There was a rare Ford GT40 street model, a Rossion Q1, and lots of classic and modern Vettes, Stangs, and some Chargers, Challengers, some Cudas, along with some others thrown in there, like a drag racing modified Chevette.

I really wish I got pics of the GT40, but didn't even think to pull out my phone.

Nothing better than the car that stomped Ferrari at Le Mans four years running bringing an end to their 6 year winning streak (Of course they were different GT40 models.) Hell after the first 2 years of Ford winning, they made it to where the engine can't be more than 5 liters. I guess Ford really stomped the competition with that 7.0 V8. lol

                  1998 Chevy Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6 (225k miles) Best MPG = 28

                      MARLIN MARLIN MARLIN

                      WUNT.

                      I've dreamed of having a '65/'66 Marlin since I was 6.

Someday, it shall happen.. though the price is going up. Two years ago you could get a good-great condition one for under $6k. Now they're like.. 13k.

Howcum we aren't eligible for "green" plates? Anyone that has kept a Festy alive as a DD in the rust belt for 20+ years has overall used considerably less global energy/manpower/natural resources than anybody else that drives a fossil fuel (or even lavish electric car that has to be recharged via hydro, nuclear or coal-fired power) vehicle. It's all about politics and "optics". So we are portrayed as piloting obsolete unconscionable pollution-spewing junk.
