Hmm, there seems to be some difference between the 88-89 model yrs and 90-93 model yrs .....
Never seen it disscussed much here, but a few things i've noticed is, the 88-89 models, have a few things that seem to hold up better than the 90-93 yrs.
The seats last longer on the 88-89's and it looks as though the panels mentioned above seem to fair better also!
My 88 has seats that are in great shape, and most 90 and later ones i've seen in JY's are all tore up.
The panels in the 88 are in great shape, but in the 92 GL I just got, the panels are cracked and chipped.
I'd say look for 88-89 panels at JY's and install them into your Festy.
If you paint the cracked and chipped panels, you can still see where the cracks and chips are. Maybe fill with some kinda hardening resin, and then paint?Last edited by drddan; 09-17-2013, 04:03 AM.Dan
