  • Yep, F3BZ is right. This is a direct swap on 88-89, but the flap will swap onto the 90-93 rod pretty easily. Just pull on the flap as you rotate it and you'll feel it move at a certain position( full open if I recall) then do the same on the old one and swap. I have them in my 92. RH has the mirror.

      • Problem is I have a good left flap but no left rod. Actually it's not for me.
The 93 aqua that I bought and sold the same day week before last didn't have any visors in it...I had a good right one
but only the flap part of the left one, so I'm trying to find one for Ellie (the new owner).

        • OK. I see what you are looking for now. I know I have a RH one, but I'll have to look and see if I have a LH from a jy car I stripped, if no one else has something.

            • this should be the highest capacity factory rad Kia put in the Pride. it is the replacement listed for the big Kombi Wagon with AT. they were probably the heaviest of the Pride models and came standard with 13" tires. the rad is an even 1" thick.
the price is twice what some pressed bamboo China knock off would cost but i'd rather pay for OEM quality. also, helping to sooth some of the bite, it comes with mounting bushings and rad cap. choose Korea Post. it only took 10 days.

Very nice! Could you post all 3 dimensions of just the core itself? Id like to know how the volume compares with the chinese one i bought. And what was the price?

                • How does it compare with our typical automatic radiator?

That's cool and you can use the auto cooler for an oil cooler.

                      Not engine oil though.

                      • the width between endplates is 15 1/16". the height between top and bottom tanks is 12 5/8". 1" thick. i think the MT rad is 3/4" thick.
there were 4 possible radiators installed in festiva from 88-93. they were dependant on what trans the car had, AC wasn't a factor

by contrast, Kia shows 9 different Pride radiators globally. not all are available, nor would i want to buy more than one to find out so i decided that logically, the one installed in their heaviest model with AT should have the most heat transfer capacity.

the one i bought is $171 plus $32 shipping via Korea Post. pricey? ya. not being stranded like my uncle in his turbo stiva between FLA and PA due to a failed Leek Goo brand Chinese bargain rad? priceless.

                        • I am not a fan of crimped-on plastic reservoirs.
I have one that looks nice and new but still has an annoying leak on the top seal.
I have another rubber gasket, but haven't bothered to get adventurous.
Give me a soldered brass rad any day.
