There have been at least two or three BP/ATX swaps. An ATX in good shape should hold the power of an N/A BP just fine. IIRC, autos should be good up to around 190-200 hp. Stock BPs are around 125-130 hp.

My yellow car is an auto BP. I didn't do the swap though,1990 Red Festiva STOCK "pregnant roller skate"
