    Has anyone ever put a BP on a Festy auto?
    1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
    1965 Mustang Coupe - A-code car, restoring for/with my son
    1973 F100 longbed - only 22k original miles, 360/auto, disk, PS/PB dealer in dash A/C
    1996 Sonoma X-cab - son's DD
    2002 Grand Prix - daughter's DD
    2003 Sport Trac - 180k, 130k on replaced motor with new timing chains - F/S soon.
    2005 Accord - wife's DD
    2008 Mountaineer - step daughter's DD
    2015 F150 SCrew - DD

      R.I.P '91 Ford Festiva Manual "Lil Red Rocket" bought brand new in 1991 with ~120 mi... ended with 227,xxx mi.


      R.I.P '97 Ford Aspire 4 Door Automatic "Ford Metro" parts car - got with about 144,xxx mi.... ended with 144,xxx mi

      R.I.P '95 Ford Aspire Manual Silver (one owner and one family car) got with about 50,000 miles ended with about 90,000 miles

      R.I.P '94 Ford Aspire Manual "New Blue" got with 150,xxx.... ended with about 200,xxx (it's engine is the .40 engine in my GL)

        I don't plan on hot rodding it yet, thought I'd get it put in and swap to a cable G later.

          Yes, someone has. Wasn't that 1991 LX w/BP for sale from Canada (in New York) an auto?

          Anyway, yes. :p I think the auto is supposed to be REALLY strong for swaps.

            There have been at least two or three BP/ATX swaps. An ATX in good shape should hold the power of an N/A BP just fine. IIRC, autos should be good up to around 190-200 hp. Stock BPs are around 125-130 hp.

              My yellow car is an auto BP. I didn't do the swap though,
              1990 Red Festiva STOCK "pregnant roller skate"
              1989 Yellow Festiva BP swap "Freebird"
              2007 Ford F150 "black sunshine" full exhaust with x-pipe. K&N intake. Headman Headers.
              2001 Honda accord SOLD lots of goodies done suicide doors lowered 20 inch rims
              2005 Ford F250 6.0 Turbo Diesel "swamprat" 4 inch lift, 4 inch mbrp exhaust, egr delete, glowshift pillar gauges.
              1994 Ford F150 5.0 Completely stock.

                What about the axles? Specifically the passenger side? Do I need a Capri passenger setup?
