It might be a shorter list if I tell you what hasn't' been replaced
-I just replaced the trany a couple months ago, syncros were just about non-existent.
-Tie-rod ends and steering rack have been replaced twice.
    -2 wheel bearings
    -several shifter bushings
    -Struts
-suspension bushings (they need replacing again)
    -Grill - twice
    -one headlight
-driver side window - lawn mower through a rock as I was driving by a guys house - thank God the window was up
-Hatch - window was knocked out by a hail storm - cheaper to replace the hatch - called around till I found a junkyard that had on in my color - then drove there with the hatch off and put it on in the junkyard
-Lots of dash and radio lights replaced several times
-Front seats (from an LX) - most people don't know this but seats do wear out - I was starting to have back problems when I drove it. the padding had settled so much that the bar at the bottom of the seat back was hitting my lower back - replaced seats - back was OK again
-Gas tank sending unit $75 from Ford (ouch)
-Cat - turns out that wasn't the problem
    -muffler twice
-exhaust pipe from cat to muffler $90 (another ouch)
That's all I can think of for now.

I remember this post a few months back

I thought that was remarkable. Nearly half a million miles is a testament for any automobile.
