Always liked the idea of a Monster Miata... except then I'd have to drive a girl car....
I'm always still just poking around. I keep telling myself that it isn't a girls car because its supercharged :p

Girl car? Heh. If you've ever had one you wouldn't be saying that. Or you are too worried about what other people think

It's too small for me. I like having lots of room inside. I don't see many girls with them. Nice looking car though.

I recently caught up with mcm from Australia and man does the guy Marty get greif from his buddy Moog about owning a hairdressers car.

Was thinking, is anyone going to step out of the realms of Capri/323 and going to the miata side for their next festiva swap?

Also just curious too grey, do you think the supercharger would swap over to a Capri/323 b series without too many issues?

I loved my Miata, it was one of a very limited run (~1500) of '92 Sunburst Yellow and the previous owner had lowered it an inch or two with Tokico shocks and slightly stiffer springs. Nothing special about it other than that, all stock, 1.6L 5 speed. It wasn't a fast car by any means, but once you got it going you didn't have to slow down for anything. Wouldn't have been that much fun in flatlands, but out here in the winding mountain roads, it would outrun anything on 4 wheels, because you never had to use the brakes, just the the throttle. I'm 6'3" and about 220lb and while it was a tight squeeze getting in and out when the top was up, once inside there was plenty of room. My wife always said I had to fold up like a pocket knife to climb in and then unfold again once I was inside. I'll probably have another one someday, but it will be a while before something that small is practical again.
            No festiva for me ATM...
