Hey !! 1st post ... I found a 91festiva with a bp swap and festiva tranny. It has been painted and has little to no rust. The car seems good needs brake work motor mounts and a little cleaning but it's all there. What is it worth?? I have looked on Craig's list and there are few comparable cars. My daily is a fiat 500 abarth with some mods. The festiva was quicker then I expected I would love to purchase but don't want to over pay too much. Thanks

The car does have rust. Can see it bubbling under the paint in the pictures. It wasn't repaired, just painted over.

The rust looks pretty minimal, like it could be dealt with at this stage without too much difficulty. With all the extras like tach, spoiler, interior, it's a tough call. Basically it's worth the price if you decide to pay that price. I'd try to talk him down to $1500 tho. Esp. if it still needs brakes and motor mount.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

if that one is worth 19 or even 15 then what I have for 2500 is a steal. I spent a g on new parts for install, 600 on donor festy, 500 for donor escort,
ZERO rust, straight body, nice tan int. firewall not cut.
it would be worth the effort for you rust belt boys to come to SC and take a look.admit nothing - deny everything - make accusations

Thanks for the advice. I guess it's worth what I will pay. I think we are in agreement at 1600 now just have to deside if it's the fun car I need. Is there a source for new aspire brakes and hubs or someone here that has a used setup? I looked on rock auto for hubs and can't find anything. I am just trying to mentally prepare for costs to swap the common stuff.

No new hubs that I know of ,but aspire or the often easier to find kia rio hubs are fairly inexpensive in junk yards.
I think I had about 400 in mine that was used rear axel and fresh rebuilt hubs with all new break parts wheel bearings and soft lines.
