Well the trans is in but this time I'm going to wait until tomorrow to put the axles in. Just to be safe lol. I'd rather do it in the daylight than the dark like I did last time. Less mishaps that way.

Turn the tunes down and you should be able to hear the snap ring on the end click when you have pushed it all the way in. The cv should not come back out if you pull on it by hand. If it does there is about a 100 guys on here that have fought axle removal for days that will want to know your secret lol !

My secret to axle removal is I push it in as far as I can then yank out fast and hard usually comes out first try.... I don't know why I messed up this time.. I've changed a zillion axles... It happens I guess.

              What do you need?

I have springs and struts that I will give you if you pay for shipping. Two almost-new Monroe rear struts, front and rear springs, IIRC I have one or two used front struts too, probably KYB.

That would be a start honestly. The bearings are still good but it needs pretty much all the bushings up front tie rod ends. Ball joints. I'll probably just get new control arms though. Struts.. All the goodies.

So it sounds like you only need front struts from me?

It needs all four honestly but the front end in general is bad.

You're welcome. I painted those green when I was gonna do up Matthew as a camo car, like the Tercel 4WD I had. Matthew was so rusty tho that I just cut it up, salvaging all the good parts.

Just a quick update on the lack of progress. Even though it has good shocks and rides tons better. it has gone through 2 used alternators... I'm pretty sure they were already bad but I'm set back financially ATM. It will probably be another week before she gets any progress.
